The sculpture is founded on the interdependence of two distinct entities that act upon one another. Each draws on the other, weakening and reshaping its structure. It is a relationship of constant tension: for one entity to exist, the other must partly surrender its original form.
The two elements remain inseparably linked – one takes over the space and function of the other, while undermining its stability. The process is destructive, yet it does not lead to complete disintegration. On the contrary, destruction becomes the condition for both forms to endure. The sculpture thus reveals the paradox of mutual dependence: the two entities need each other, even though their relationship leads to gradual weakening and transformation. Their existence rests not on harmony, but on a continual balancing act between sustaining and destroying.
